أُوقدت في مدينة تعز اليمنية شعلة العيد الـ64 لثورة 26 سبتمبر المجيدة، في حفل رسمي جماهيري حاشد جسّد التمسك الشعبي بالثوابت الوطنية والمكتسبات الجمهورية. وفي الحفل الذي أقامته المحافظة عشية ذكرى ثورة 26 سبتمبر، أشاد وكيل أول محافظة تعز الدكتور عبدالقوي المخلافي بالملاحم البطولية التي يسطرها أبطال القوات المسلحة والأمن دفاعاً عن الجمهورية ومؤسسات الدولة، مجدداً العهد بالوقوف خلف القيادة السياسية حتى استعادة الدولة وترسيخ الأمن والاستقرار. وأشاد بالتضحيات الجسام التي يقدمها المرابطون في مختلف الجبهات، موجهاً التحية لشهداء الوطن والجرحى الذين ستظل تضحياتهم محل إجلال وفخر لدى أبناء المحافظة كافة.
كما رفع المخلافي التهاني والتبريكات للأشقاء في المملكة العربية السعودية قيادةً وشعباً بمناسبة اليوم الوطني للمملكة، مثمناً المواقف الأخوية والدعم المستمر للشعب اليمني.
عقب ذلك، قام أركان حرب محور تعز اللواء الركن عبدالعزيز المجيدي بإيقاد شعلة الثورة، وسط أجواء وطنية وهتافات أجمعت على مواصلة المسار النضالي والوفاء لدماء الشهداء والجرحى والمرابطين في ميادين الشرف والبطولة.
The 64th anniversary of the glorious September 26 Revolution was celebrated in the Yemeni city of Taiz, during a large official public ceremony that embodied the popular commitment to national constants and republican gains. In the event organized by the governorate on the eve of the September 26 Revolution anniversary, the first deputy governor of Taiz, Dr. Abdulqawi Al-Makhlafi, praised the heroic feats being recorded by the heroes of the armed forces and security in defense of the republic and state institutions, renewing the pledge to stand behind the political leadership until the state is restored and security and stability are established. He also praised the immense sacrifices made by those stationed on various fronts, directing greetings to the martyrs of the homeland and the wounded, whose sacrifices will remain a source of reverence and pride for all the people of the governorate.
Al-Makhlafi also extended congratulations and best wishes to the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, both leadership and people, on the occasion of the Kingdom's National Day, appreciating the fraternal positions and continuous support for the Yemeni people.
Following that, the Chief of Staff of the Taiz Axis, Major General Abdulaziz Al-Majidi, lit the flame of the revolution amidst a national atmosphere and chants that united in continuing the path of struggle and honoring the blood of the martyrs, the wounded, and those stationed in the fields of honor and heroism.
