بعيداً عن المستطيل الأخضر وصخب صفقات الملايين، عاد نجم نادي النصر ساديو ماني إلى مسقط رأسه بقرية «بامبالي» ليقود تحولاً اقتصادياً شاملاً، مبتعداً عن الاستثمارات العقارية التقليدية نحو قطاع الزراعة والتصنيع.
أعلن ساديو ماني رسمياً في العاصمة داكار إطلاق مشروعه المبتكر (SM10 Agro) باستثمارات أولية تبلغ 11 مليار فرنك أفريقي (نحو 18 مليون دولار)، بهدف إنشاء مجمع للصناعات الغذائية في منطقة «سيدهيو» جنوبي السنغال، بمشاركة قيادات حكومية ومسؤولي وكالة تشجيع الاستثمارات الوطنية.
وجاء التحرك الاستثماري لنجم المنتخب السنغالي لمعالجة أزمة اقتصادية تؤرق مزارعي الجنوب، حيث أشار ماني إلى أن المنطقة تفقد سنوياً ما بين 30% إلى 40% من محاصيل المانجو بسبب غياب وسائل التبريد وتقنيات التصنيع الحديثة.
وعلق ماني على دوافع الخطوة قائلاً: «أريد لثروات أرضنا أن تبقى هنا، داخل السنغال، وأن يستفيد منها أهلنا بدلاً من إهدارها». ويمتد المشروع على عدة محاور تنموية تهدف لخلق بيئة صناعية متكاملة داخل القرية:
- زراعة مكثفة: إنشاء مزرعة مانجو عملاقة على مساحة 500 هكتار تضم نحو 78 ألف شجرة، يُنتظر جني أول حصاد منها بعد ثلاث سنوات.
- خطوط إنتاج مبتكرة: مجمع صناعي لمعالجة الفاكهة بطاقة إنتاجية تبلغ 10,500 طن سنوياً، يتخصص أحد مصانعه في استخراج وإنتاج «زبدة المانجو».
- التأهيل والتعليم: تأسيس مركز متخصص للتدريب على المهن الزراعية موجه للشباب والنساء، يشتمل على مجمع سكني ومركز للبحث والتطوير.
ويوفر المشروع في مرحلته الأولى قرابة 1000 فرصة عمل مباشرة، إلى جانب آلاف الفرص غير المباشرة في قطاعات النقل والخدمات اللوجستية، مع اتجاه لضخ استثماري إضافي بقيمة 5.3 ملايين دولار.
من جانبها، أعلنت السلطات السنغالية دعمها الكامل للمشروع، حيث أكد المدير العام لوكالة تشجيع الاستثمار منح مشروع (SM10 Agro) إعفاءات ضريبية وجمركية شاملة لمدة خمس سنوات للمعدات والآلات المستوردة، باعتباره رافعة اقتصادية محلية للبلاد.
Away from the green rectangle and the noise of million-dollar deals, Al-Nassr star Sadio Mané returned to his hometown of "Bambali" to lead a comprehensive economic transformation, moving away from traditional real estate investments towards the agriculture and manufacturing sector.
Sadio Mané officially announced in the capital Dakar the launch of his innovative project (SM10 Agro) with initial investments amounting to 11 billion West African francs (about 18 million dollars), aiming to establish a food processing complex in the "Sédhiou" region of southern Senegal, with the participation of government leaders and officials from the National Investment Promotion Agency.
The investment move by the star of the Senegalese national team comes to address an economic crisis troubling farmers in the south, as Mané pointed out that the region loses between 30% to 40% of its mango crops annually due to the lack of cooling facilities and modern manufacturing techniques.
Mané commented on the motivations behind the step, saying: "I want the wealth of our land to stay here, within Senegal, and for our people to benefit from it instead of wasting it." The project spans several developmental axes aimed at creating a comprehensive industrial environment within the village:
- Intensive farming: Establishing a giant mango farm covering an area of 500 hectares with about 78,000 trees, with the first harvest expected in three years.
- Innovative production lines: An industrial complex for fruit processing with an annual production capacity of 10,500 tons, with one of its factories specializing in extracting and producing "mango butter."
- Qualification and education: Establishing a specialized training center for agricultural professions aimed at youth and women, which includes a residential complex and a research and development center.
The project will provide nearly 1,000 direct job opportunities in its first phase, along with thousands of indirect opportunities in transportation and logistics sectors, with plans for an additional investment injection of 5.3 million dollars.
For its part, Senegalese authorities announced their full support for the project, with the director general of the Investment Promotion Agency confirming that the (SM10 Agro) project will receive comprehensive tax and customs exemptions for five years for imported equipment and machinery, considering it a local economic lever for the country.
