منع الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم«FIFA» المياه الزجاجية القابلة لإعادة الاستخدام إلى الملاعب خلال مباريات كأس العالم 2026. وأكد «FIFA» تطبيق القرار لأسباب أمنية، وذلك عقب تعديل طارئ على «مدونة قواعد السلوك في الملاعب».

وقال الاتحاد الدولي في بيان لـ«رويترز»: «نلتزم بحماية صحة وسلامة اللاعبين والحكام والمشجعين والمتطوعين والموظفين، وقد جاء قرار حظر الزجاجات للحد من المخاطر والإصابات المحتملة».

أضاف البيان: «تُحظر الزجاجات الخارجية بالفعل في عدد من هذه الملاعب لأسباب تتعلق بالسلامة، ونعمل على تعميم هذا الإجراء في جميع ملاعب البطولة».

وجاء في البيان:«داخل نطاق الملعب، ستظل أسعار زجاجات المياه خلال كأس العالم 2026 متوافقة مع الأسعار المعتمدة في الفعاليات الأخرى التي تستضيفها هذه الملاعب».

The International Football Federation "FIFA" has banned reusable glass bottles from stadiums during the 2026 World Cup matches. FIFA confirmed the implementation of the decision for security reasons, following an emergency amendment to the "Code of Conduct in Stadiums."

The international federation stated in a statement to "Reuters": "We are committed to protecting the health and safety of players, referees, fans, volunteers, and staff, and the decision to ban bottles was made to reduce potential risks and injuries."

The statement added: "External bottles are already prohibited in several of these stadiums for safety reasons, and we are working to generalize this measure across all tournament venues."

The statement continued: "Within the stadium premises, the prices of water bottles during the 2026 World Cup will remain consistent with the prices approved for other events hosted in these stadiums."
