في صفعة أمنية مدوية للخارجين عن القانون والمتاجرين بأخلاقيات المهن الطبية، نجحت الإدارة العامة للمباحث الجنائية بالكويت في الإطاحة بطبيب نساء وولادة، حوّل عيادته الخاصة في صمت إلى وكر لإجراء عمليات الإجهاض المحظورة وترويج الأدوية المهربة مقابل أرباح طائلة!
وجاء السقوط المدوي عقب خيوط ومعلومات سرية دقيقة تلقاها قطاع الأمن الجنائي، كشفت استغلال المتهم لصفته المهنية في ممارسة أنشطة تُجرمها القوانين، حيث كان يتقاضى مقابل تلك العمليات الخطرة والعقاقير الممنوعة مبالغ كاش وأخرى عبر تحويلات بنكية.
كيف سقط الطبيب في الفخ؟
تحرك فريق البحث والتحري بسرعة لجمع الأدلة، وبمجرد التثبت من صحة الشبهات، جرى إعداد كمين أمني محكم، حيث تم الاتفاق مع المتهم على شراء أقراص مخصصة للإجهاض وتحديد موعد لمقابلته داخل العيادة.
وعقب الحصول على الإذن القانوني من النيابة العامة، داهمت القوة الأمنية الموقع وألقت القبض عليه متلبساً. ولم تقف المفاجآت عند جدران العيادة، إذ أسفر تفتيش مسكنه عن العثور على خزانة سرية تضم 49 قرصاً للإجهاض و115 قرصاً من المؤثرات العقلية والمخدرة!
وبمواجهة الطبيب المتهم بتقرير التحريات والمضبوطات شديدة الخطورة، انهار واعترف تفصيلياً بجرمه، مؤكداً أنه كان يجلب عقاقير الإجهاض من خارج الكويت بطرق غير قانونية ومبتكرة لتهريبها.
وعلى الفور، تمت إحالة المتهم والمضبوطات الشاملة إلى جهات التحقيق الاختصاصية لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية الرادعة بحقه، لترسخ السلطات الأمنية في الكويت رسالة حازمة لكل من تسول له نفسه المساس بأمن وصحة المجتمع.
In a resounding security blow to lawbreakers and those trading in the ethics of medical professions, the General Department of Criminal Investigations in Kuwait successfully apprehended an obstetrician-gynecologist who quietly turned his private clinic into a den for performing illegal abortions and promoting smuggled medications for hefty profits!
The dramatic fall came after precise secret information and leads received by the Criminal Security Sector, revealing the accused's exploitation of his professional status to engage in activities criminalized by law, where he charged for those dangerous procedures and prohibited drugs in cash and through bank transfers.
How did the doctor fall into the trap?
A search and investigation team quickly moved to gather evidence, and once the suspicions were confirmed, a tight security ambush was prepared, where an agreement was made with the accused to purchase abortion pills and set a meeting time inside the clinic.
After obtaining legal permission from the Public Prosecution, the security force raided the location and arrested him in the act. The surprises did not stop at the clinic's walls, as a search of his residence revealed a secret cabinet containing 49 abortion pills and 115 pills of psychoactive and narcotic substances!
When confronted with the investigation report and the highly dangerous seized items, the accused doctor broke down and confessed in detail to his crime, confirming that he was bringing abortion drugs into Kuwait through illegal and innovative methods of smuggling.
Immediately, the accused and the comprehensive seized items were referred to the relevant investigative authorities to take stringent legal action against him, reinforcing the security authorities in Kuwait's firm message to anyone who dares to jeopardize the safety and health of the community.
