امتعض المدير الفني للمنتخب الفرنسي ديدييه ديشامب من كثرة الأسئلة الموجه له من قبل الإعلام، حول مصيره ومستقبله التدريبي خلال المرحلة القادمة، بعد نهاية رحلته بصفة رسمية مع «الديوك» التي انتهت مع مونديال كأس العالم، وفشله في الوصول للنهائي وتحقيقه المركز الرابع.

وكان الاتحاد الفرنسي لكرة القدم قد وجّه رسالة شكر وتقدير إلى ديشامب، تقديراً لما قدمه خلال سنوات قيادته للمنتخب، عقب خسارة فرنسا أمام إنجلترا بنتيجة 6-4 في مباراة تحديد المركز الثالث، التي كانت الأخيرة له على رأس الجهاز الفني، لينهي بذلك حقبة حافلة بالإنجازات.

وقال ديشامب، في تصريحات إعلامية نشرتها صحيفة «lefigaro» الفرنسية: لم أحسم مصيري ولن أتوقف عن التواجد في الخط القانوني داخل المستطيل الأخضر.

وأضاف: رغبتي كبيرة في مواصلة العمل التدريبي، سواء مع الأندية أو المنتخبات، لذلك لا تتحدثوا معي عن التقاعد، ليس هذا هو الوقت المناسب، ولا أشعر برغبة في التوقف ولو للحظة، أريد الاستمرار لأطول فترة ممكنة.

وتابع: التدريب يمنحني جرعة كبيرة من الأدرينالين، وطالما أشعر أنني قادر على القيام بهذه المهمة فسأواصل العمل، وسوف أرتاح الآن، وعقبها أستعد لدراسة الأنسب لي.

وأكمل بطل العالم السابق مع «الديوك» حديثه: اليوم أملك امتياز الاختيار، لكنني لم أتخذ قراري بعد، وما سيحسم موقفي هو المشروع الذي أراه الأفضل بالنسبة لي.

واختتم حديثه: إذا لم أعمل في التدريب، فلا أستطيع أن أتخيل نفسي أعيش حياة أذهب فيها إلى الفراش كل ليلة دون أي خطط لليوم التالي، هذا ليس أنا.

وأشارت الصحيفة إلى أن ديشامب لم يغلق الباب أمام تدريب منتخب وطني آخر، رغم أنه كان قد استبعد هذه الفكرة في السابق، مؤكداً: أنا لا أغلق أي باب.

كما أوضحت الصحيفة من مصادرها أن المدرب الفرنسي لم يستبعد خوض تجربة تدريبية في الدوري السعودي، مشيراً إلى أنه سيحدد مستقبله بعد الحصول على فترة من الراحة.

ورغم انفتاحه على جميع الخيارات، أوضحت صحيفة AS أن ديشامب لا يزال يفضل خوض تجربة تدريبية في فرنسا أو إيطاليا أو إسبانيا إذا قرر العودة لتدريب الأندية.

The head coach of the French national team, Didier Deschamps, expressed his annoyance at the numerous questions directed at him by the media regarding his fate and coaching future in the upcoming phase, following the official end of his journey with the "Blues," which concluded with the World Cup, where he failed to reach the final and achieved fourth place.

The French Football Federation had sent a message of thanks and appreciation to Deschamps for what he has contributed during his years of leading the national team, after France lost to England 6-4 in the third-place match, which was his last as head of the coaching staff, thus ending an era filled with achievements.

Deschamps stated in media remarks published by the French newspaper "lefigaro": "I have not decided my fate, and I will not stop being present in the legal line within the green rectangle."

He added: "I have a strong desire to continue coaching, whether with clubs or national teams, so do not talk to me about retirement; this is not the right time, and I do not feel the desire to stop even for a moment. I want to continue for as long as possible."

He continued: "Coaching gives me a huge dose of adrenaline, and as long as I feel capable of doing this job, I will continue to work. I will rest now, and after that, I will prepare to study what is best for me."

The former world champion with the "Blues" concluded his remarks: "Today I have the privilege of choice, but I have not made my decision yet, and what will determine my position is the project that I see as the best for me."

He wrapped up his comments by saying: "If I do not work in coaching, I cannot imagine myself living a life where I go to bed every night without any plans for the next day; that is not me."

The newspaper noted that Deschamps has not closed the door on coaching another national team, despite having previously ruled out this idea, affirming: "I do not close any doors."

The newspaper also clarified from its sources that the French coach has not ruled out the possibility of taking on a coaching role in the Saudi league, indicating that he will determine his future after taking a period of rest.

Despite being open to all options, the newspaper AS stated that Deschamps still prefers to pursue a coaching experience in France, Italy, or Spain if he decides to return to coaching clubs.
