GV Investments has announced during a press conference held today، Wednesday، the signing of an exclusive partnership agreement between its subsidiary، GV Auto، and Lada Egypt. 

The partnership aims to market and distribute "Lada" cars with new 5 models in the Egyptian market. Additionally، the agreement entails the establishment of a manufacturing plant in Egypt to assemble and manufacture cars، catering to local market demands and boosting export opportunities.

An increase in demand for cars

With the presence of Sherif Hammouda، Chairman of GV Investments، and Ilya Savinov، Export Director of AvtoVAZ – Lada. The partnership is part of the development and expansion of the automotive market in Egypt، where the country is witnessing an increase in demand for cars and growing investments in the manufacturing sector.

The new plant is slated to be situated in Tarboul Industrial City، spanning an area of up to 200،000 square meters، and will focus on assembling and manufacturing five different models of LADA cars، which aligns with the company's strategy to amplify its production capacity.

GVI AUTO aims to produce between 50،000 to 70،000 cars annually، prioritizing the utilization of local components exceeding 60%. This underscores the company's commitment to bolstering the local industry and delivering high-quality products. Moreover، the company endeavors to achieve significant localization in the assembly and manufacturing processes، while also exploring new avenues for export and leveraging regional and international trade agreements involving Egypt، such as COMESA، the Agadir Agreement، South Africa، the European Union، and agreements with countries like Turkey.
